Open studio is the time we open our studio for people to come and play with us. (Suncatchers, dichroic pendants, pictures in glass, wind chimes, and more.)
Suncatcher Workshop
$15.00 and up – Beginning Workshop
Schedule during open studio time - Reservations required
Come play with us and create that one-of-a-kind suncatcher or ornament. Students will cut colorful pieces of glass using mosaic cutters. You then arrange a design on a blank piece of glass that we will fuse in our kilns. There are many designs to choose from. This workshop includes all materials.
Dichroic Workshop

Schedule during open studio time - Reservations required
Come play with our dichroic glass and create unique one-of-a-kind pendants. Students will create 5 small or 3 medium-sized pendants that we will fire for you. This workshop includes all materials.
Pictures in Glass
$25.00 - Intermediate Workshop

Create a scene on a 6-inch square glass piece. Students will cut colorful pieces of glass using mosaic cutters, glass frit and stringers. You then arrange a design on a blank piece of glass that we will fuse in our kilns.
Wind Chimes
$25.00 and up (2 workshops required) - Intermediate Workshop
Schedule during open studio time - Reservations required
Create a design on a piece of glass. Students will cut colorful pieces of glass
using mosaic cutters, glass frit and stringers. You then arrange a design on a blank piece of glass that we will fuse in our kilns. At the second workshop students will string their glass pieces into a wind chime.
Fusing 1 in a Mini Kiln
$60.00 plus $15.00 materials - (2 classes)
Thurs. Aug. 16th and Aug. 23rd, 2012 - 6pm – 8pm
This class is designed to instruct you on the fundamental principles of fusing in a rapid fire kiln. Students will make 3 pieces in this class.
Fusing II
$120.00 plus $30.00 materials - 4 classes (once a week)
Thurs. Sept. 20th through Thurs. Oct. 11th, 2012 6pm – 8:30pm
Come learn the art of fusing in a large kiln. Students will learn about firing schedules, glass preparation, compatibility, slumping, painting with light, stringers manipulation and more. Students will make several projects.
Stained Glass
$89.00 plus materials – 5 classes (once a week)

In this class you will create a stained glass window approximately 9” x 14” using the copper-foil method. You will learn cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing. Students will be required to purchase or provide the materials for their project . Please ask for the materials list. No children under 12 please.
Glass Cutting and the Morton System

If you want to learn more about glass cutting, this is the class for you. Learn how to cut shapes, circles and strips. Learn how to use the Morton System for cutting glass. We will have lots of scrap glass to practice on!
Small Plate Class

Come and create a small plate to be fused and then slumped in our kilns.
Contemporary Copper Necklace

Simply Soldered Pendants

Learn to sandwich pictures or designs in glass and solder with lead-free solder into a pendant. No children under 12 please. All materials included in this class.
