    Thur. & Sat. from 1 - 5 pm by appointment. (Bring eye protection!)

        Our 2008 Spring Class Schedule is:

    Fusing 1. Feb. 23, Apr. 12, or Sat. 10 am - 2 pm.
        "Fusing 1 in a mini kiln." One class $60, plus $15 materials fee.
    This class is designed to instruct you in the fundamental principles of fusing in a rapid fire kiln. Students will make 3 dichroic pieces in this class. This is a one-time class and lasts approximately 4 hours.

    Fusing 2. Apr. 25 - 27, Fri. 6 -8:30 PM, Sat. 11 AM - 4 PM, Sun. 11 AM - 4 PM.
        "Fusing 2." Series of 3 classes $120, plus $30 materials fee.
    Come learn the art of glass fusing in a large kiln. Students will learn about firing schedules, glass preparation, compatibility, slumping, painting with light, stringers manipulation and more. Students will make several projects.

    Working With Metals. Mar. 1, Sat. 10 AM - 12:30 PM
        "Working With Metals" $30, plus $15 materials fee. One session, 2 1/2 hours.
    Learn to add Mica powders, glass paints, copper and silver to your glass. Students will make several pieces in this class.

    Beginning Wiring. Mar. 8 Sat. 10 AM - 12:30 PM
        "Wire Wrapping 1." $30 plus $15 materials fee. One session 2 1/2 hours.
    Learn the basics of working with wire.

    Etching Dichroic Glass. Mar. 15, Sat. 10 AM - 12:30 PM
        "Etching Dichroic Glass." $30 plus $15 materials fee. One session, 2 1/2 hours.
    Learn different techniques for etching designs on dichroic glass.

    Glass Cutting. Mar. 4, Tues. 6 PM - 8:30 PM
        "Glass Cutting and the Morton System." One class $20.
    If you want to learn more about glass cutting, this is the class for you. Learn how to cut shapes, circles, and strips. Learn how to use the Morton System for cutting glass. We will have lots of scrap glass to practice on! (Students need a glass cutter and eye protection.)

    Let's Make Clocks. Mar. 12 and Mar. 19th, Wed. 6 PM - 8:30 PM. Two sessions.
        "Let's Make Clocks." $25 workshop and kiln fee. Glass and clock parts extra. Come and create a fused glass clock. Glass cutting experience is helpfull.

    Pictures in Glass. Mar. 22, Sat. 10 AM - 12:30 PM
        "Pictures in Glass." One 2 1/2 hour session, $25. Create a scene on a 6 inch square or round glass piece using cut pieces of glass, frit and stringers. Additional fee for larger pieces.

    Bird House. Mar. 25, Apr. 1, Apr. 8, Tue. 6 PM - 8:30 PM.
        "Bird House Class." $50 class fee plus $40 materials fee, three sessions. Come and create a 10 inch fused glass bird house.

    Small Plate. Apr. 16, Apr. 23, Wed. (call for time).
        "Small Plate Class." $35 class fee plus $15 materials fee, two sessions. Come and create a 6 inch plate to be fused and then slumped. Larger plates can be made at an additional fee.

    Let's Make Coasters. Apr. 29, May 6, Tues. 6 PM - 8:30 PM.
        "Let's Make Coasters Class." $30 class fee plus $20 materials fee, two sessions. Come and create 4 unique coasters. Students will use glass or mosaic cutters to create the perfect design for their coasters.

    Picture Frames and Mirrors. May 3, Sat. 10 AM - 12:30 PM.
        "Picture Frames and Mirrors Class." $25 workshop fee and kiln fee, two sessions. Glass and mirror, or frameback extra. Come and create a picture frame or mirror in glass. Glass cutting experience helpful.

        How to enroll.
        Our classes can have a maximum of 12 students and need a minimum of 4 to hold the class. We require a 50% deposit to hold your space in a class. Failure to show up or provide less than a 48-hour cancellation notice will result in a loss of deposit. You can enroll by mail (check), phone (credit card), or in person. Your project will not be available to take home the day of the class due to the time required for heating and cooling of the glass.
